Thank You Hashem – Week 37

– Was in a Jcrew store in the city and bought a bunch of stuff 25% off and got in my car and realized that a pair of shoes I bought was not on the receipt. I called the Rabbi and asked what to do? He said if it will make a kidush Hashem go back to the store. I was with my daughter and she said people always get paid back when they do these things and a kidush Hashem as well. I decided to go back and went to the manager knowing he would recognize me as a Jew more than the lady behind the counter, the manager took my receipt and checked it ,he kept typing and typing on the computer and I asked what are you doing writing me a new receipt? He said no, I am giving you 30% off of your entire order! I only had to pay them $7 for the shoes! Hashem is with us every second, even when he doesn’t show us so clearly but  the awesome part about this was the feeling I had knowing Hashem was right by my side showing me right there on the spot he was happy with what I did.. Thank you Hashem

-BH, in the past 3-4 weeks I, and 2 of my sisters, as well as my wife’s Brother had babies. Thank you Hashem! Please grant them all long, happy, healthy lives.

-THANK YOU HASHEM FOR EVERYTHING.MY HUSBAND AND I WERE LOOKING AT OUR NEW FURNITURE/HOUSE AND COULD NOT BELIEVE THAT 5 YEARS AGO WE WOULD HAVE THIS TODAY.THE DAYS THAT SEEM NEGATIVE ARE THE DAYS HASHEM PUSHES US TO ACCEL AND ACHIEVE THINGS WE NEVER THOUGHT WE COULD.

-Thank you Hashem for my healthy ears! Just came back from a meeting and the person I met with had a very hard to look at defect on both ears (originally described it here but hard to even read it so I deleted it!), I appreciate my ears very much-Thank you Hashem

-WAS ON  A PLANE AND THERE WAS TREMENDOUS TURBULANCE, THE ENTIRE PLANE WAS SHAKING FOR MANY MINUTES STRAIGHT AND THE DRINK CART EVEN FLEW DOWN THE AISLE, WE WERE ALL TOLD TO STAY SEATED WITH OUR SEATBELTS FASTENED BUT I MADE A QUICK DASH TO THE OVERHEAD AND GRABBED MY TEHILIM BOOK AND PRAYED VERY HARD-BARUCH HASHEM A SCARY SITUATION BECAME CONTROLLED-THANK YOU HASHEM FOR WATCHING OVER US.

-Thank you Hashem for “sometimes” letting us see as a reminder that everything that happens in our life is all connected and part of the big picture, we have to remember that we don’t always need to know what is going on behind the scenes, that Hashem is running the show but it is a chesed for sometimes letting us have a glimpse of how everything always works out and that something that happened a while ago was connected to something working out today.

-Thank Hashem for watching over us and doing everything for us!

-mabruk on a beautiful Bar misvah last night

-This week I was short X amount of dollars.  I was not sure how I was going to get it.  Here is what happened:  My wife picks up the kids from school everyday.  Since she drives anyway she is happy to take her friend’s child home as well.  Anyway, this week the parent of that child decided to give my wife a cash gift card for the exact amount of money that I was looking for!! to the penny!!   Baruch Hashem!!

-Happy birthday to me! – Thank you Hashem

-Thank you Hashem for Rabbi Wachsman shlita’

-Had a job to go and do tomorrow and the customer had to cancel for a personal emergency (hopefully temporarily) but because of that cancellation I was able to slot a different job in its place Thank you Hashem for controlling everything so precisely.

-Thank you Hashem for the wonderful phone call I just received from my 5 year old excitedly sharing the happy news with me of receiving his 1st siddur today in school! BH He should be very masliach in all that he does and be zoche to pray and serve Hashem bisimcha for many happy healthy years

-Thank you Hashem for guiding me on to the right path, ran into a teacher of mine that hasn’t seen me in about 25 years and he was so pleasantly surprised to see that I am trying to live a religious torah life and bringing up my family on the path of torah as well. Reflecting back I thank you boreh olam for opening my eyes to the beautiful happiness and beautiful ways of the torah.

-Last night my wife and I had a wedding to go to. We were looking for a babysitter, couldn’t find one.Our neighbor which my son is very close to, has been busy with school lately and hasn’t been around as much to babysit, – so we’ve been getting girls that my older son never met before and were hoping that he wouldn’t wake up and get scared.we decided to call our neighbor and BH she said it’s not a problem to come tonight. The minute we walked in the wedding, she called and said my older son had just threw up and was feeling feverish. He was screaming and crying but calmed down quickly because he was comfortable with our neighbor. As I did not think the way my wife thought  right away, she said “WOW HASHEM IS UNBELIEVABLE, HE KNEW TO SEND OUR NEIGHBOR TONIGHT,  IF IT WAS ANY OTHER BABYSITTER OUR SON WOULD HAVE BEEN REALLY SCARED AND WOULDN’T CALM DOWN” Thank you Hashem for watching over us and for GREAT NEIGHBORS

-The other night, I was on the way home from the city with my father that has to say kaddish. The Minyan that he usually goes to starts Arbit 647 about… we hit traffic in the city and weren’t sure if we were going to make it. A long story short, we pulled right outside of shul at 647 the hazzan had just started arbit and he made the hatzi kaddish. What I got from this is, instead of saying I cant believe we had to sit in this traffic  and make it literally to the split second and be nervous etc.., I was like wow, Hashem knew were going to get there, sometimes he may make things look a little harder, but wants to show us no matter what he is there for us. Thank you Hashem.
