Thank You Hashem – Week 118

  • Thank you Hashem for the special guest you sent to us last Shabbat. It was such a joy to have our grandson, David, stay with us all night and Shabbat day.We hope you will send him again soon for another Shabbat  visit.                                                                                                                  THANK YOU AND DAVIDS PARENTS
  • Made an extra 40 bucks today at work and it was for something extremely easy. Thank you Hashem for the gift.
  • Had a business trip and had to be at the airport for a 7am flight. Earliest Talit and Tefillin time was 610am. Boarding was at 625am. With only 15 minutes to pray I was rushing and not praying at the normal speed. All of the sudden at 617am there is an announcement that the plane just landed and they need an additional 20 minutes to prepare before boarding. I immediately slowed down and prayed the right way. Thank you Hashem.
  • I was on the phone with a friend of mine who has recently become religious. He was telling me how he took his cell phone to Tag and took the internet off of his cell phone. I was very happy and wanted to encourage him, instead he ended up encouraging me. I told him that what he did is great and when you start to make sacrifices for Hashem that are difficult Hashem will start to make them easier for you to handle. He answered me, what are you talking about? Sacrifice? This is the greatest thing, by doing this and following the Torah it makes me have a better life, so all of this is for my benefit and it is no sacrifice at all, it is an honor and is totally for my good and it makes me happy. Thank you Hashem for letting me get inspired.
  • My friend made a Brit milah this week for a grandchild. Mazal Tov.
  • Thank you Hashem for the opportunities that you send me.
  • I was driving on the highway and was over the speed limit. I passed a police car that was hidden on the side and saw him preparing to come after me. I said a prayer to Hashem and Baruch Hashem for some reason he decided not to come after me. Thank you Hashem.
  • You never know the results from your actions. I just found out that a colleague of mine just got involved in doing a certain misvah because he witnessed me doing it. I was taught that if a person does a misvah because he learned it from you that you get credit for that persons misvah as well. This is a great and thoughtful chesed from Hashem when you think about it. Thank you Hashem for your kindness.
  • My son has started to learn Rashi and I am so proud of him and how excited he is to take this step forward in learning Torah. Thank you Hashem for nachat from all of my children.
  • Thank you Hashem, had 4 happy occasion to attend this week.
  • My car lease was up. I figured I would get a lower model car for a cheaper price this time around. I called the leasing company and I ended up getting 2 levels up of what I had now and for less money. All I can say is Thank you Hashem.
  • Thank you Hashem for this fantastic and beautiful weather we have been having.
  • Ordered merchandise for an order and got a much better price than I expected.
  • Right place at the right time. Happened to pray mincha in a shul I do not normally go to and was given the opportunity to give sedaka to help spread Torah.
  • Thank you Hashem for these powerful parshiot that we can learn so much from. May we take the lessons from them and instill them into our lives.
  • Thank you Hashem for letting me see this kidush Hashem. There was a person in the supermarket filling up 3 wagons of food. All sorts of shabbat food , everything you would need to have a great shabbat. From roast to chicken – from pickles to sour stix. Nothing missing. His turn comes up at the line and he has a list of 3 or 4 addresses to have these shabbat orders delivered to. Then I hear him say, but please do not put any name on it saying who it is from, not on the box, not on a receipt not anywhere. It must be sent anonymously. The goy cashier caught on to what was happening here. She got all choked up and told the man. There is no one like your people; you are so kind to one another. This was a great kidush Hashem.
  • Thank you Hashem for these gorgeous early winter Shabbats, they are so enjoyable.
