(from the archives).. The biggest mitzvah is to help a friend before he falls off his donkey. A man approached me the day after I read that “the Biggest, mitzvah is to help a man before he falls off his donkey.” I just lost my job’ I need help till I get another job” immediately, I reached out to his close friends and raised 5000 dollars for him. After 1 month he approached me and said ” I just got a job” I can’t thank you enough for sustaining me for the past month with the 5000 it was a tremendous help and kept me going for the past month”‘ thank you,”When you hear if a friend in trouble, help him, before he falls off his donkey! Shabbat shalom
