Thank You Hashem – Week 186

  • Thank you Hashem for allowing me to be zoche to walk my daughter to the chupah and enjoy a wonderful wedding with my family. Thank you Hashem for the wonderful Husband you sent to my daughter. We are so grateful to you.
  • Thank you Hashem not only for the holiday of Purim but for the special excitement and feeling of joy leading up to it.
  • My great friend visiting from Israel calls and asks me if I can help him find a special set of pidyon haben coins that come from Israel for his friends upcoming Pidyon. I made a few calls to the local judaica stores and found out it is only available in Israel and they do not carry them here. I relayed the message and told him I will get him the regular silver coins but he insisted that he really really wanted these. I said what can we do, they are not available. He said no, lets keep checking. My wife just happens to mention that a close friend of ours just went to Israel to see her children in Yeshivah. We made arrangements to get the coin set to her in Israel and she was kind enough to do the chesed and bring them back to New York. Amazing how when there is a will Hashem makes it happen. He was determined to get this person that type of set and Hashem made it all fall together perfectly. Thank you Hashem and of course thank you to the shaliach of this misvah in bringing it home on time for the pidyon.
  • Thank You HaShem for giving us Purim and the Mitzvot of Purim and unlike the goyim, instead of being selfish and only caring about ourselves, we give unlimited money to the poor people… Mi Keamcha Yisrael.
  • Thank you Hashem for another wonderful week! I heard this week that the regular routine hum drum day to day life is the greatest blessing – so here I am another week has gone by and it was filled with so much good and so much joy – B”H.
  • Thank you Hashem for the ability and opportunity to celebrate another birthday this week and for all my family and friends that always surround me and are there for me.
  • I was running late to an appointment and felt bad that I would cause the back up of all the clients for the rest of the day – but the person after me was also late so I didn’t cause a back up. Thank you Hashem.
  • Last week I was driving a blind individual and got to see a bit how their struggles are – I’m trying now to recognize and be even more grateful for my eyesight and of course – what I allow my eyes to see.
  • I love you so much, Hashem and cannot begin to express it and acknowledge it – it’s just so overwhelming! Always at my side. Always. When I notice and when I don’t.
  • Many years ago I was able to do a chesed and help someone out who was out of a job. This week this person calls me and gives me an order for merchandise in his new business. I am so glad to see this person on his feet and so happy to see Hashem’s hand at work from several years earlier.
  • Thank you Hashem for giving me an amazing wife and beautiful children. They are all the highlight of my day. To see them grow up in a kosher environment is such amazing Nachat. Thanks to my wife who puts so much into them. Thank you Hashem for giving me all I have.
  • Thank you for this special weekly email where we can recognize Hashem in our everyday lives. A lesson we learn from Purim, to see Hashem hidden in all that we do. Happy Purim.
  • Thank you Hashem for helping my husband find a part job at a time when we really needed it. It is amazing to see how you take care of us every minute of the day and make sure that all our needs are taken care of.
  • A cop was peeking thru my parked cars window thru the drivers side door. My parking muni meter ticket was expired. I quickly ran over to the car to try and stop him from pressing his scanner and giving me the ticket. I run over and make some noise, and he jumps and turns around and says Oh I am sorry. I thought he was going to continue and say- that I already gave you the ticket , but no, he continued and said, I am sorry I was just looking into your car and admiring it. Thank you Hashem that I didn’t get a ticket and thank you Hashem for the kidush Hashem that followed when I was able to have a nice conversation with him and did not rush away. He got to see a friendly jew. Who knows maybe next time he is deciding to give a jew a ticket or not, maybe he will let it go.
  • I was trying very hard to rent a certain apartment. I worked hard on it and it finally came together. For no apparent reason the owner says he is giving it to someone else. We felt awful but accepted it from Hashem. Baruch Hashem we found something for the same price and it is much bigger and is pretty much brand new. Thank you Hashem for having the owner change his mind. You always do what is best.
