Thank You Hashem – Week 187

  • Thank you Hashem I am zoyche to make a bar mitzvah for my son and have a bris for a new son in same week.
  • Was about to pay for shipping back a return. I made a quick call to get instructions and they offered to email me a free shipping label. Thank you Hashem.
  • Thank you Hashem that I was able to walk out of my car just after a major accident with bH a little bump. Chasdai Hashem
  • THANK YOU H-SHEM FOR EVERYTHING !!!! THANK YOU FOR MAKING AN OPEN MIRACLE THIS MORNING. I WAS GETTING THE CAR TO DRIVE THE RABBI TO A BRIT MILAH AND IT WAS SNOWING SO FOR SOME REASON I PRAYED TO H-SHEM PLEASE PROTECT ME WITH THE DRIVING AND THEN AS I AM DRIVING TO PICK UP THE RABBI I DIDN’T REALIZE THE LIGHT WAS RED FOR ME SO I WENT THRU IT; A TAXI WAS COMING FROM THE LEFT (HE HAD A GREEN LIGHT) I STOPPED MIDWAY THRU THE INTERSECTION I MISSED HIM BY CENTIMETERS. B”H NOTHING HAPPEN TO ME OR TO HIM OR TO EITHER CAR. BESIDES THIS MIRACLE H-SHEM IS ALWAYS DOING HIDDEN MIRACLES FOR US AND OUR FAMILIES EVERY SINGLE SECOND OF OUR LIVES.
  • I was driving with my son in the car to do some shabbat errands. I started talking to him about chesed. Of how we have to run after the chesed when the oppurtunity comes. To grab the chance to do the chesed and help people out. A few moments later we are getting into the car from one of the stores and there is a Rabbi and his wife standing on the sidewalk in the middle of a side street. They start to ask where I am driving. I sense they are in need of a ride and start to tell them to get in I would love to drive them. They try to get me to tell them the direction I am going to see if they are taking me out of the way. I suddenly recognize the Rabbi to be someone from out of town that was sitting next to me a week earlier at a sheva berachot. I also had a hunch this Rabbi was sleeping by my sister and brother inlaws house that week. I now know his neighbor hood and tell them I am going towards that direction. (was true because I was going to go wherever they needed) – they get in the car and lo and behold it was the same Rabbi I was thinking of. Even more co-incidental is that my other brother inlaw had a similar story and also ended up giving a ride to this same Rabbi.
  • Was walking home from around the block thru a backyard shortcut with my hands full and a cup of coffee in one of them.  I saw a patch of ice and quickly realized I had better step carefully lest I fall and no one would even see me.  Lo and behold next thing i knew I hit the ground with a thud, spilled the coffee all over myself and was stunned and dazed – but I fell on my tush and ended up quite sore but whole – Thank you Hashem for sparing me a serious accident and a disastrous situation. !
  • Thank you Hashem for the thank you Hashem emails… I get caught up in the small or imaginary problems and sometimes forget to say Thank you for the real BIG Blessings that Hashem is constantly providing!
  • Thank You Hashem, That I had amazing purim and keeping me & my family safe!
  • Baruch Hashem my close friend came out of a surgery needing to do much less than expected chas vishalom. The days leading up to the surgery he was bi simcha-Happiness – I spoke to him about being happy  and was ready to give him a pep talk and he jumped in and interrupts and says, I AM ALWAYS HAPPY! If I am out of the hospital I am happy and if I am in the hospital I am happy, it is no different. My Rabbi said over that Esther did not start the revolt against Haman at the first seudah with Achashveirosh. Why not? The Megilah says that Haman was sameach-he was happy that he was invited to be by a seuda with the King and Queen. When a person is happy he can not be harmed, even a big wicked rasha like Haman will not be harmed while bisimcha! Only at the 2nd seuda was Esther able to mention to Achashveirosh about Haman. My Rabbi heard my friends response to me and said –If Haman was speared because of simcha, for sure my special sadik friend who is happy in his hospital bed will be saved with the surgeons not having to remove anything that we thought. Hashem is great .
  • Thank you Hashem for a winter blizzard that closed down the office & hardly affected me at home (Lakewood). Best of both worlds!
  • Went skiing with my sons, who were both off from Yeshiva on the same day (different yeshivas). Got to spend some quality time with my kids & B”H everything went well getting there & going back.
  • Flew to Charlotte on a really packed flight. I think there was only one empty seat on the whole plane, right next to me! Thank you Hashem!!!
  • Had a really enjoyable Purim & had a great seuda with the family. Although it was cold, it didn’t SNOW!!!! Thank you Hashem for everything~~~
  • Thank You Hashem for the wonderful freezing weather!! I’m sure there are TONS of benefits to us that we don’t even realize. & Thank You Hashem for giving us options for controlling the temperatures indoors so we can warm up as needed!!
  • Thank you Hashem for another great week!
  • It was a beautiful and safe Purim – B”H.-This morning I overslept and was going to be late for work. I texted a co-worker to let her know and she responded that due to a technical problem the facility will open an hour later and hence all the staff have the extra hour, free!!! 🙂 Hurray! Thank you Hashem!
