Thank You Hashem – Week 231

  • I was driving back from my kids’ carpool turned onto my block driving a little bit fast when suddenly I saw a cop pulling me over in my rear-view mirror. Right away I kept my cool stayed calm and thought ein od milvado. The cop came to my window asked for license and registration then I realized that I don’t have my wallet since my kids took it out of my pocketbook earlier that morning without me realizing he then said don’t worry I will look up your license, ” did you get any other tickets before” I said no not recently (i last got a ticket a year ago) The cop went to his car for 10 minutes then came back … the whole time I kept thinking Hashem does everything for a reason ein od melvado and stayed calm and kept my cool. When the cop came back he then asked me, do you believe in coincidence…? I asked why. so, he then went on and told me do you remember getting a ticket last year, I said yes last year I had an expired registration which I was not aware of. He then said well do you know the date that you got the ticket … I said no I don’t, He said well that date was 3/6/17 and that so happens to be the same number as my badge he then says i don’t know about you but i think that’s a cool coincidence then he tells me you know what I am just going to let you off with a warning I was so happy I thanked him I couldn’t help but think those 3 special words Ein Od Melvado… if you believe it then Hashem really takes care of the rest. I then realized that there’s no such thing as coincidence there’s only Hashem, and Hashem does everything for a reason. I could have got 2 tickets one for no license one for speeding but clearly Hashem was on my side… when we rely on Hashem he does miracles and saves us from all troubles big and small… THANK YOU HASHEM
  • Thank you, Hashem, for such beautiful weather today. For only, should go to the costume store twice and not more. For every detail that you plan that I don’t even know about
  •  I have tears in my eyes as I’m writing this. Thank you, Hashem, !!  A new employee just started working for our company. 22year old married. First job. He used to go to Rabbi Diamond Kollel. So, I just met him. After hanging up with my Brother in law who was in the Hospital overseeing a procedure for his first Grandson. He asked me to say Tehilim as they were about to start the surgery.   After hanging up, I said Tehilim then turned to the new guy and asked him to pray for Tinok Ben penina. I turned back to him after 10 seconds and saw him with his eyes closed in deep prayer. It told my brother in law later with people like this on our side, Hashem will answer our tefilot. How beautiful is it to see a total stranger praying for someone he doesn’t even know. BH the surgery was a success.
  • This past week my kids were sick with the virus and I washed the linen to try to get rid of some germs and bacteria in the room! I had a mattress protector pad on my 4-year olds bed and being that she was trained at night for a while I decided to put it on my recently trained 2 years olds bed. She was also trained at night and was doing well so far. Well, it came into great use just this Friday night as my 2-yr. old had an accident in the middle of the night. Thank you, Hashem, for making me decide to switch the pad out of all weeks to the other bed and protect the mattress from getting dirty…
  • Thank you, Hashem, for the stunning spring weather, a wonderful relief from the cold. Everything seems so much easier and brighter in the warm sun
  • Sometimes I think that we tend to overlook the simple things in life.  The other day I was leaving the grocery store with a cart full of groceries.  It was a gorgeous day with a bright blue sky, puffy clouds, and a wonderfully scented breeze.  Suddenly, I was overcome with love and gratitude for Hashem.  I stopped right there and thanked Him for all the beauty around me and the ability to enjoy it.  I thanked Him for the ability to buy groceries for my family and for the car to transport them home.  I thanked Him for my family.  The Florida school shooting took place not too far away from my house, and it made me realize anew that every second is precious.  So, I give all of you a blessing that Hashem will protect you and your loved ones, that you will have peace and health, and that you will continue to keep Hashem close to your hearts.
  • Was in the Hospital after pulling an all-nighter and needed to continue to stay. Was going to be tough doing in the waiting room after being up all night so I was looking on my phone for Hotels in the area. I walk back into the room and the nurse says by the way we are arranging a room for you to stay in as long as you need it. It is next door and it is beautiful. Beautiful and spotless clean Baruch Hashem-Thank you Hashem
  • Thank you, Hashem, for the beautiful weather today!

  • Thank you, Hashem, for my beautiful and healthy grandchildren.
  • Thank u Hashem for giving me just the flu and nothing worse
  • Thank you, Hashem, for giving my kids summer jobs!! YAY!!!!
  • Thank you, Hashem, for this thank you Hashem program!

Thank You Hashem – Week 177

  • Got back to my parked car and found a ticket on the windshield for parking meter reciept not visible. Under the ticket a malaach put a parking paper within 2 minutes of the ticket so I can get it dismissed. Thank you Hashem and thank you to this mystery person.
  • Thank you Hashem for saving mine and my family’s lives. We were on the way home from NY back to Cleveland, and I was driving our 12-passenger van. Suddenly the brakes stopped working. There was an exit coming up, and everyone screamed for me to take it. Because I was so panicked and flustered, I got off the exit. While getting off, I realized I should have stayed on the highway and used the long shoulder to let the car slow down and come to a stop on its own. As I was thinking that, I realized that I’m on an exit that’s on a downhill, and we’re about to approach oncoming traffic, that was moving at a high speed. My heart was racing, but there was nothing I could do. I tried pumping the brake pedal to no avail. I closed my eyes and asked Hashem to help us. Miraculously, the car came to a complete stop, on its own, a mere inches before the intersection. None of us could believe the open miracle that had happened. We had the car towed to a nearby mechanic. He told us that we’re so lucky to be alive, because the brakes were completely gone, so there was no way that I could have stopped the vehicle. Thank you Hashem
  • We have just arrived home. I thought I left the holy land of Israel but when the Taxi pulled up to my house in the totally dark early morning hour, I saw holiness. My brother inlaw Joey Rishty getting out of his car to go and learn with his son Sammy in shul.                                                                            It is really amazing, especially when you get home from Israel, it is a little sad how unaffiliated most of the Israelis there are. We are so lucky. THANK YOU HASHEM.
  • I have no words that can properly express my thanks to Hashem for walking my daughter to her wedding this week to an amazing young man & a beautiful family! We are thrilled with the marriage & Boruch Hashem look forward to wonderful things from this couple. May there always be many more simchas in Klal Yisrael! Also want to thank Hashem that the snow from just a couple days before the wedding did not affect anyone’s ability to get to the wedding. We were zoche to have many family members join in the simcha, some of whom spent many hours traveling to be at the simcha. Thank You Hashem again & thanks for everyone that was able to partake.
  • Hashem, simply you are the best! Thank you
  • This past Sunday night I was rushing home so I can get to shul and pray mincha & arbit.  I had to find a parking spot near my house, get the kids out of the car & get all the packages out of the car & get everything & everyone into the house as it was very very cold.  I grabbed all my stuff from the car, cell phone, cell phone charger, hat, gloves, packages, etc….  I had a lot of stuff in my hands and I was trying to stuff some of the stuff in my jacket pockets.  Later that night I went to get my cell phone charger from my jacket pocket & the plug was missing.  I said to my wife, it must have fallen into the snow as I was getting everything out of the car, so she offered to go out to check (it was 11 p.m. & I was already ready to climb into bed). I have the BEST wife!!! She came back 5 minutes later & said she didn’t find it.  I said ok, I will say a prayer and on my way to shul in the morning, I will look for it.  Baruch Hashem, I found it!!! Thank you Hashem for helping me find it!
  • Baby boy- mabruk
  • 2 baby girls were named in shul this week. Mabrook and many more simachot.
  • I was driving down a one way street this morning and a young boy was riding his electric scooter in the street against traffic. He was not driving it steady, he was wavering a little. He was not wearing a helmet. As he passed me I made a tefilla to Hashem for this boy to be safe and protected. At that moment I see in my rear view mirror the boy on his scooter swerving out in front of an oncoming mini van. The van stopped and the boy regained control and straightened out back to the side of the street. Thank you Hashem and parents please push for everyone to wear helmets.
  • Thank You Hashem for letting it rain during the night and letting it be nice weather today!
  • Thank you Hashem for always being with us, helping us and caring for us. Thank you for regular happy healthy days that just pass by. Each one is a blessing and is truly appreciated.
  • My friends daughter has become a kallah- mazal tov.
  • I just heard about 3 different simachot in a row. Hashem you are so generous and kind to us.
  • Thank you Hashem for helping me in passing a test in not getting angry. I was faced with a situation and was about to react angrily but I caught myself. I handled it with a smile and with shalom. Baruch Hashem it all worked out perfectly. Had I gotten angry it probably would have made a very big mess. Thank you Hashem for letting it all work out so perfectly and with great pure shalom.
  • As Rabbi Wallerstein said, the greatest simcha a person has when leaving the hospital, is when they disconnect him from all of the machines and take out all of the wires. He now feels free. We have to thank Hashem that we are here and that we are not connected to any machines with any wires. Thank you Hashem.

Thank You Hashem – Week 96

  • Ein od Milvado- The unheard of happened, I won a parking ticket dispute. I hold this is almost an impossible thing to happen especially having information from someone connected on the inside saying it is pretty much impossible to win. I almost didn’t even send in my argument, I didn’t want to give them the satisfaction but said ein od milvado I will give it a try. I received the email response and almost didn’t even bother opening it. I opened it and saw Hashem’s hand clearly, they said amount due-0 , dismissed. Thank you Hashem – also got to see the gaavah in the system. They couldn’t dismiss it gracefully they had to add this knock to the decision description to try and make me feel bad , “Dismissal is not on the merits of the case presented” This backfired on them because it dot make me feel bad at all, it actually made me recognize the hand of Hashem even clearer, so it made me feel even better!
  • Do you remember my missing ice cream story? Well, I came home yesterday, and couldn’t find my cell phone. When my daughter called my phone, I followed the ring to find that it slipped down between the seats. When I bent down to get it out I found my GPS there too, which was missing SINCE PESACH! Anything that happens in this world, is for a good purpose. Sometimes we think we know why, sometimes we don’t, but it always has a good reason.Thank you Hashem for taking such good care of us.
  • There is a man that is a huge supporter of the Mitzvah Man and one day Mitzvah man asks him to jump in and actually do one of the cheseds that come his way. The nice man says he is very busy and doesn’t know if he can do it. MM convinces him to take a small amount of time out and go visit one of the many holocaust survivors that they visit. The man agrees but says he can only stay 10 minutes and not longer, his schedule doesn’t allow him the time. After meeting the special sadeket Mm sent him to, and seeing a frum and holy lady before him after all she had gone thru, he ended up staying 40 minutes. He went to a Holocaust survivor’s home who had lost it all in Auschwitz. Her parents, all her siblings all her aunts and uncles all her cousins, everything! She was the only survivor. All alone but did not give up. She survived to build a family of torah true misvah observance. Her children are involved on all fronts of torah and chesed. Running Bikur cholim in their towns and involvement with many organizations. Her son on his own started Hatzalah in his state, quite an achievment. Her home has pictures of her children and grandchildren and you can see they are all religious. She proudly shows the visitor what she was zoche to build after surviving such torture. She did not mention a word about finances or anything close to it. The man out of no where asks if there is one thing you can have, what would it be? She says my dream would be to have the honor to be buried next to my husband in Israel but unfortunately that will never happen, our funds will not allow for it. The man walked out and on the spot jumped on this opportunity and made arrangements to make sure that this woman has her dream and is buried beside her husband after 120. He took care of this on his own and now this wonderful sadeket will have her dream fulfilled by the kindness of this nice and generous man. The way she is living her life after all she went thru is nothing short of a Kidush Hashem and this man was affected by seeing it and saw the chance to do something special, extra special for a special woman. We are a great great nation!
  • Just said the tefillah from the Shlah Hakadosh erev rosh chodesh Sivan and recalled a few years ago my sister was on a trip in Israel and she contacted me from there and asked what I was doing. I replied I just finished saying the tefillah from the Shlah Hakadosh for erev rosh chodesh sivan. She replied that I will not believe where she is standing, she was at that second at the kever/gravesite of the Shlah Hakadosh!! and I emailed the tefillah and they were able to say the tefillah on erev rosh chodesh right by the kever of the author of this tefillah. The timing was perfect especially Israel being 7 hours ahead they were able to say it before the correct time had passed. May we all see great Nachat from our families-Thank you Hashem for our families.
  • I was driving down east 10th st towards ave J , parking very difficult there. I asked Hashem to please send me a parking space right on the corner of East 10 and Ave J , I continue driving on east 10th and find a parking about 4 spots off of ave J. I did not take it, I had trust that Hashem would have the spot right on the corner waiting for me. Continued driving and Bingo, Hashem had this spot I requested waiting with my name on it, right on the corner as requested. Thank you Hashem
  • Engagement of my friends son last night mazal tov
  • Thank you Hashem for letting us make a wonderful sheva berachot. For our niece. And for wonderful friends who made the night a success
  • I read something so beautiful today from Rabbi Nachman which I must relay to all of you, as it is truly such an essence to happiness: To earn a decent wage and to find a decent place to live – return to G-d. Then you will transcend above time and space. You will escape the pressure of this world; your attitude will improve and you will become optimistic. G-d will then freely pour His goodness out to you both spiritually and physically. BH Chag sameach to all.
  • Thank you Hashem for another wedding anniversary and thank you Hashem for my wonderful Wife
