We would like to Thank Hashem in public for all the חסד He did for our children and grandchildren from overseas who had wanted to spend the yom tov with us!
Besides all the restrictions and traveling issues due to the covid, they had another issue as 2 of our einiklich passports hadn’t arrived after having applied for it long long before yom tov. Apparently the application had ended up in the passport office in New Orleans which had been closed since the most recent hurricane. After lots of different types of hishtadlus with many extremely long waiting phone calls and different contacts, they were able to get the last appointment available before the (long ago) booked flight, which was on the same day of flight! B’Chasdei Hashem they made the appointment and had to wait only 2 1/2 hrs to receive the 2 new passports!
During the wait time all the lights went off for a few minutes….who knows if it wasn’t Hashem showing us that we need siyatta dishmaya on every little thing! It there would have been a electrical issue in the building …the printers wouldn’t have worked and than there’s no passports!
B”H there were no other issues, no traffic etc… allowing them all to catch their flight and spend yom tov with us.
